Home/Energy
A load you can steer. Heat you can sell.
A mining container is the most flexible large load on any grid: it can switch a megawatt on or off in seconds, and every kilowatt it draws comes back out as heat: hot water from hydro and immersion units, warm air from air-cooled units. CubeApp controls both sides.

01 · Inflow · Power
Mine only when the grid wants you to.
CubeApp turns any external signal into a power target and hits it by starting or stopping miner groups. The logic runs on the edge server inside the container, so it keeps working without internet.
Renewable overproduction
Wind or solar park producing more than the grid takes? The container absorbs the surplus and stops when production drops. Curtailment becomes revenue.
Balancing & curtailment
A grid operator or aggregator sends a setpoint. CubeApp translates “target 800 kW” into “5 of 10 groups” and confirms the new state within seconds.
Spot-price threshold
Set your break-even $ / MWh. Below it the container mines, above it groups shut down. Day-ahead and intraday feeds supported.
Tariff windows & manual
Night tariffs, contracted capacity, maintenance windows. Override anything from the portal with a confirmation and a reason.
How a signal becomes hashrate
Seconds, not minutes.
Miners are organised in groups. Rotation keeps runtime fair across groups; safety logic in the PLC always wins over any commercial signal.
Signal in
Setpoint, price or surplus reading arrives via API, PLC input or schedule.
Translate
CubeApp computes the group count that meets the target within the container’s limits.
Switch
Groups start or stop through smart PDUs and miner firmware. Progress: “18/32 confirmed”.
Prove
Every action logged with who, when, why. Metered consumption is your evidence to the grid operator.
02 · Outflow · Heat
Every kilowatt in comes out as heat.
Hydro and immersion containers return a hot-water loop of 50–65 °C; air-cooled containers deliver warm exhaust air that can be ducted to halls, drying rooms or greenhouses. A 40 ft hydro unit at 1.9 MW is a 1.9 MW boiler that pays you.
Heat networks
Homes, offices, public buildings. We supply the heat exchanger and interface to the network operator’s substation.
Greenhouses & farms
Greenhouse heating, fish farms, biogas digester optimisation. Steady base-load heat that follows your mining schedule.
Process heat
Hot water for industrial processes, drying of wood, fertiliser or biomass. Replace gas for low-temperature demand.
Pools & spas
Swimming pools and wellness sites with constant heat demand. Quiet immersion units fit near populated areas.
03 · For energy suppliers
Put stranded capacity to work.
A container is placed where the energy is: at the plant, the park or the remote site. It starts small and scales per 40 ft unit, without data center construction.
Talk to usGrid stabilisation
A flexible load that absorbs overproduction from renewables and drops off on command. Metered per machine.
Wind & solar parks
Energy that would be curtailed is converted on-site. Transformer and switchgear come with the container.
Remote & stranded gas
Off-grid sites and flare gas: containerised gas-to-power plus mining load, delivered as one system.
